About Bella Cora

Bella Cora is a unique ensemble of women who sing with a beautiful pure sound. The group is dedicated to bringing high quality performances of choral music to audiences in and around London.

Bella Cora performs regular concerts, with appearances at venues such as St. James, Piccadilly and St. Martin in the Fields. Bella Cora also sings at charity and community events. Our next appearance will be on 5 July 2008 at the United Reformed Church, Mill Lane, Broxbourne. Find out more...

We take part in competitions, with several wins at music festivals. We won first prize in the 2008 North London Festival of Music, Dance and Drama (Adult Choirs section) and were highly commended participants in BBC Radio 3 Choir of the Year 2008.

We love to sing and we have fun doing it. Our repertoire covers a wide range of music: classical works, songs from the shows, madrigals, spirituals and folk songs, and we sing in two, three and four part harmony. We enjoy learning different pieces, rehearsals are always fun and we gain great satisfaction when everything comes together.

Bella Cora's musical director is Travis Baker, our accompanist is Masumi Yamamoto, and our President is Bryn Terfel.
