Our accompanist
Masumi Yamamoto
Masumi is our very accomplished accompanist!

Masumi with Jane and a well-deserved bouquet. |
Masumi completed her undergraduate
and Master's degrees majoring in piano at the Queensland Conservatorium,
Griffith University in Australia, where she was awarded a University
Medal on graduation. She came to London in 2001 to study at the Royal
Academy of Music, then Trinity College of Music where she was a student
of James Johnstone, with whom she still studies.
Masumi has given many performances in the UK and Australia on both
piano and harpsichord. In London she has performed at such venues
as St Martin-in-the-Fields, the Handel House Museum, the Old Royal
Naval College Chapel, Blackheath Halls, Charlton House and St. Paul's
Covent Garden.
Masumi is an asset to our group and a joy to have around. |
